Suriname songwriter Ruth Koenders will soon launch a new series of kids songs.Writing songs for kidsis fun,Ruth says. There are more than fifty children involved in this project.This project came about when Ruth realized that there haven't been written new songs for Surinamese kids in about a decade. Ruth decided to do something about this.

Avond vierdaagse is a wanderers event held once every year during the springvacation in Suriname.During this event groups wearing sometimes traditional some sporty clothes walking,singing and dancing through the streets of Paramaribo for four days.

pretty excited and inspired by the candidate Barack Obama.

candidate that he made a sculpture of Barack Obama.
