Indian spring celebratian,that's a National holiday in Suriname,where decendents of the contractors who came to Suriname 10 years after slavery was put to an end in 1863.The heavy work the slaves did for free had to go on and the dutch tricked the the indian to come to Suriname to work for pennies.
